West End’s Board of Advisors consists of several leading real estate practitioners, who provide us with a diverse range of expertise, including principal investing, brokerage, development and advisory. The Board is an excellent resource and allows us to tap the combined wisdom of more than 90 years of industry experience and an invaluable network of deal sources and partners. West End’s Board consists of the following members:

Brian W Ball

Executive Director

Brian Ball joined NAI KLNB after chairing GVA Advantis’ Advisory Services Group for 24 years, specializing in consulting and representing professional and corporate clients in leasing, sales and joint venture transactions both locally and nationally.Prior to joining GVA Advantis, Mr. Ball was a founding member and managing partner of Larson, Ball & Gould, Inc. Mr. Ball began his career with Shannon & Luchs Company, helping to develop the company’s commercial real estate division. Mr. Ball holds a BA in American Studies from Brown University.

Mr. Potts is a Senior Managing Director in HFF’s Washington, DC office and has over 24 years of commercial real estate experience. Mr. Potts joined the firm in 2007 and focuses on the marketing and sale of institutional-grade office properties throughout the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area. Prior to HFF, Mr. Potts spent seven years as an Executive Director in the Investment Services Group at GVA Advantis. Prior to joining GVA, Mr. Potts spent five years as a partner at Morris McNair & Associates, Inc., where he represented local and regional clients in the acquisition and disposition of a broad range of commercial property and land. Prior to that, he was a Vice President at The Carey Winston Company for seven years. Mr. Potts holds a BA from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Dave Sislen

Dave Sislen

Dave Sislen is President of Bristol Capital Corporation, a multifaceted real estate investment and management firm which he co-founded in 1986. Among its more significant activities, Bristol Capital has acquired and/or developed real estate assets with a cost in excess of $500 million, provided advisory services leading to the resolution of more than $1 billion worth of troubled real estate assets and debt secured by real estate assets, and provided ongoing property and asset management services for a portfolio of real estate assets located primarily in the Washington, D.C. market. Prior to founding Bristol Capital, Mr. Sislen was a senior vice president of CRI Inc., a national real estate investment firm, where his responsibilities included the development, acquisition, and syndication of more than $650 million of commercial real estate assets. Mr. Sislen holds a BA in Economics from Tulane University and an MBA in Finance and Accounting from University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
